Barron’s 100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance: Mary Ellen Stanek

March 5, 2021 - Mary Ellen Stanek, CFA, Baird Advisors Chief Investment Officer and President of Baird Funds, is one Barron’s “100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance” for a second consecutive year. The list honors women the publication says are helping to shape the modern financial services industry.

Mary Ellen leads Baird Advisors, a team of 65 fixed-income investment professionals, who manage more than $114 billion in assets. Mary Ellen and the core team of senior managers have worked together for nearly 40 years.

In addition to leading the consistent growth of Baird’s fixed income asset management business, Mary Ellen is a constant advocate for women and a leader for Baird’s inclusion and diversity efforts. She was integral in starting Baird’s Associate Resource Groups (ARGs), and currently co-chairs Baird’s Special Task Force focused on accelerating Baird’s I&D efforts.
